although this is a very good live version of the song, personally,
i like the album version better and you should check it somewhere...
it's on the ryan adams' album "easy tiger" and is a little slower with
less "heavy" guitars.
funny story i read somewhere is that some guy on a concert
of ryan shouted: "hey ryan, play summer of 69", and ryan got so pissed,
because this seems to happen quite often to him, that he went off
stage and punshed that guy.
i seriously don't know why, i mean who doesn't like summer of 69?

to be honest: i don't like summer of 69. but i do like ryan adams. nice song. and i think it's even better in this version.
ReplyDeleteryan is the best. saw him in portland a couple years back. he is a great performer and the cardinals are are an awesome band. to bad they broke up.
